BL

In maritime terms, BL stands for Bill of Lading (also known as BoL or B/L.) It is a legal document that is issued by or on behalf of a carrier detailing the type and quantity of goods being shipped, the shipper, the consignee, the ports of loading and discharge and the carrying vessel. It also acts as a receipt when the goods are delivered to their destination.
