Bridge Console

The bridge console on a ship is a nautical term which refers to a console that is used to control the bow thruster, stern thruster, rudder and engines.

On larger vessels that have bridge wings (narrow walkways / open areas that expand outwards over the sides of the vessel that allow an an Officer to see the side of the ship while docking, undocking, and working with smaller vessels), each wing may be equipped with its own individual console
