Main Switch Board

A main switch board (MSB) on a ship is an integrated series of switching controls, regulator equipment, measuring instruments, indicators and protective devices. It is an intermediate installation in a vessel’s power distribution circuit connecting the power generators and power consumers and is essential for the  efficient centralized control of the electrical systems and power operated equipment in ships.
